This working Anglican parish church is probably the finest Baroque, or Italianate church in northern Europe! Dating from 1735, the unique interior features wondrous ceiling paintings, incomparable stained and enamelled glass and intricately carved wood and marble.

The paintings are said to include the first representation of a Downs Syndrome child and also show angels with TB scars.

The church dome is visible in the local landscape when the sun shines on its covering of 23 carat gold.

Open Wednesday- Friday and weekends. Please check times on Church website.  Stewards are usually on duty. Refreshments are available in the adjacent Tea Rooms. Witley Court with its stunning fountains adjoins the church.
